Hello, i want that during a VIDEO in Stoyline360, can show in a particulat timing of video, a pop-up with a QUESTION. User can answer in 30 second, if failed VIDEO start from begin, if not respond also VIDEO start from begin, id passed VIDEO continue. The Pop-up must show in automatic, NOT annuncede by acustic or visive element.
In the attached example I have used a True/False variable to track the correct answer to the pop-up question, which appears 5 seconds after the video starts. If the correct answer is provided, the question disappears and the video continues. If an incorrect answer is given or if no answer is given after 30 seconds, the user is jumped back to the slide. By using a jump to slide trigger, it ensures that the video restarts and the slide timeline restarts. This enables the cue point to trigger the question again after 5 seconds.
I hope this helps, but if you have any further queries just get back to me here.
Sorry for the slight delay in responding to your latest question.
In version 2 of my example, I have added a trigger to the base layer to pause the video when the timeline reaches Cue Point 1. I have also added two triggers to the Question 1 layer to play the video when the timeline ends for the layer and also when the Submit button is clicked. Without these triggers, the video won't restart even when an incorrect answer jumps the user back to the start of the slide. In addition, I have removed a trigger from the Question 1 layer that hides the layer when the timeline ends as this serves no purpose.
I have also selected all of the check boxes and created a button set, which ensures that only one check box can be selected at a time. Previously, if you made a selection and then changed your mind, the original selection remained as well as your new one also being checked. This was simply to correct an error I made with the first version and has nothing to do with pausing and restarting the video.
I hope this now works the way you want it to, but if you have any further questions, just get back to me.
This is an easy fix. In the updated attached file I have added a 100% transparent rectangle, with no outline, on top of the video. This is invisible to the user, but prevents them clicking on the video and causing it to pause.
