Questions about a conditional trigger

May 19, 2020

Hello!

I am attempting to create a freeform drag and drop quiz where users answer questions correctly  by dragging appropriate sentences into a hotspot area. For the sentences that should be dragged into the hotspot area, I've arranged the triggers so they disappear and a layer shows.  These are working fine. Here is my question:

a) Sentence 2 is the only one that does not need to be removed/rephrased.  I would like the sentence to bounce back to its original location AND I would like to have a feedback screen just for that question.

b)I would like to program a conditional trigger that somehow ends the slide (Shows a congratulations layer/moves on to the next slide, etc.) as soon as all correct actions have been taken.  Can you use a series of actions collectively as a trigger?

My quiz slide is attached. If I'm overcomplicating this, please share!
Thank you!

Hi Liz,

Welcome to the community!

I’ve made a few changes in your files to achieve your desired functionality.

a) For the first one, I can see that you have already created the Slide layer for sentence 2 so I’ve just added a trigger to call this layer after dragging into the drop target. I have used the object intersects trigger to allow the sentence to snap back before showing the new layer.

b) Based on my understanding, you want to show an end frame after completing the interactions without the need to click the submit button. To do that, I have added a conditional trigger for each of the drop objects to determine if all three sentences are already in hidden state. Once the condition is met, a congratulatory slide would be shown.

I’ve attached my modified files so you can have a closer look. For future reference, you may check out this guide about Conditional Triggers. I hope you find this information useful.
