Quiz become read only when using html5 SCORM 1.2 package

Mar 02, 2017

Dear community,

We are using Articulate Storyline 2 Update 8 : 1605.515 to generate SCORM 1.2 packages. We generated some Quiz and all suffer about the same issue. We would like to let user review their answers before validating the course, but for some reason, some question become read only after using Prev-Next button from SCORM player.

The issue appears only with HTML5 version, we didn't suffering of this bug with Flash player. But as we wish using Android tablet to make the test, it's mandatory for us to have the HTML5 version working.

The issue looks very similar than this thread https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/html5-ouput-only-replaying-the-question-displays-storyline-default-next-prev-buttons-and-disables-the-question-options but the proposed solution is not applicable in our case.

You can have a look of the issue here http://www.screencast.com/t/HzueDysLxtW

Thanks and best regards.

Olivier.

Hello Olivier - I just tested a sample course and I am not seeing the behavior you are reporting here. I will say that I am utilizing Update 11 and recommend that you do the same as there are many fixes since Update 8 as you can see here.

Here is my published output. Do you see the same issues you were seeing in your project when viewing in HTML5? Please be sure that you are utilizing a supported browser as specified here.

If you need us to take a look, you are welcome to share your .story file here for us to take a look.

Hello Leslie,

Thank you very much for this answer, I'm really surprised to see there is some update available while I checked updates from the software itself last week (software gave there is no update).

I will install the update as soon as possible (probably this week) and come back with a feedback about the issue. The changelog available in the download clearly gives some html5 improvement, so I'm positive to see this issue solved.

Regards.

Olivier.
