Quiz displaying very strangely

Sep 04, 2014

HI Again,

I think the issue is someone on our server, but I'll try asking here as well.

I have another elearning, all the slides functions exactly the same, the only difference is content. For some reason, when put on the server, only about 40% of the 115 questions are displayed. The ones that are not displayed are in no way different from the ones that aren't.

I tried simlpy taking the test and seeing what happens, eventually the slides began displaying as in the photo below/attached. I had seen this before as well when we tried yesterday.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Once again, you guys rock and you have no idea how much better my work is getting because of you!

Thanks!!!!

Jon

Hi,

Thanks for your quick reply. I've tried up loading onto the scrom cloud but it's taking an extremely long time (20-30min).

As the picture above shows, is that on the left side of the picture above, you see a menu as you would in any other AS quiz. The issue is that when you look immediately to the right of that picture, you see yet another menu of questions. It should be all in one straight line Questions 1-113, but for some reason (and I've check in AS so there shouldn't be any issue there) it displays half of the questions this way. It displays questions 9-24, and 28-79 strangely.

Even though the test is in a language very few understand, because it contains sensitive info, I cannot share it with you. We've spoken with the people in charge of our server, it seems that the issue is in the export.

Anyway, Any support you can give is greatly appreciated, and if not, no worries. I've throughly impressed with your level of customer support, and if you have a testimonials section, I'd be more than happy to share how much you've improved the quality of my work!

Thanks again!

Jon

Hi Jon!

How was this quiz added to your course? Was this just built in your course or was it added in as a web object? The two menus is a little strange to me as well.

Be sure that you are following the instructions for publishing and sharing your content here if you think that the issue is when loading to the server.

When creating, editing, and publishing Articulate Storyline courses, be sure you're working on your local hard drive (typically your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, such as file corruption, an inability to save changes, and loss of resources.

Also, with the mention of the difficulty that you are having with loading to SCORM Cloud, I wonder if your file has become corrupt somehow and if starting a new project would assist.

To save you some re-work, here's how to import slides from one Storyline project into another.
