Quiz Excel Template Non-Choice Level Feedback
Oct 13, 2015
I have been working on putting a template together to allow me to quickly import quiz questions for large quizzes (50-100 questions). I've been using the instructions here with good success: https://community.articulate.com/series/articulate-storyline-2/articles/importing-questions-into-articulate-storyline-2#xls
However, there is one element that I cannot find addressed anywhere, and that is for Non-Choice Level feedback. I can have the SME Enter it into the Excel Spreadsheet but it doesn't import, in order for this template to work well I need it to do that. Does this template allow, or are there other resources out there, that would allow me have a SME enter the feedback they would like into the template and have it imported so it doesn't need manual cut and paste for every question?

Hi Jenn,
Just to clarify by non-choice level feedback - you mean feedback by question, so the standard correct,incorrect, try again feedback? That isn't an option as a part of the Excel spreadsheet.
It's definitely a great idea to include though - so you'll want to share your thoughts in the form of a feature request here.
Hi Jen! The import allows you to set feedback by choice, but if you do not provide this information it will default to the feedback by question in your course. See attached .xls file and corresponding .story file to understand.
@Ashley - that's exactly what I mean
@Leslie - thank you for confirming the function for me
I will put in a feature request for this, it's absolutely critical to my ability to create efficient quiz templates.
Sounds great Jenn.
