I am currently working on my first course in Storyline. For this I'm only using the provided standard tools. I'm using the Projection screen from the standard templates. Now I would like to add a Quiz item, th eproblem is when I do that the backdrop is just plain white. How can I merge the two. I though about copying the quiz to the other slide but that doesn't work........
I'm not sure exactly what pieces you'd like to include on your quiz slide, but figured I'd start the conversation.
Changing the Layout
After you've inserted the quiz slide, right-click offstage (e.g., to the left of the slide) and choose Layout from the shortcut menu. If you've already inserted the projection scree, you should see something like this:
The layouts I've outlined in red are the ones that come with that Projection Screen. You can choose that Question layout to add a little more color to your that slide.
If you want the projection screen to ALSO be on your question slide, you can copy/paste that image from the original projection screen slide.
You'd of course need to "fiddle" with the positioning of everything and ensure that the projection screen shape is behind the question objects.
