QUIZ LAYER QUESTION:

Mar 06, 2020

I have a series of two tries to answer questions. The default layers are: Correct, Try Again, and Incorrect. If the learner gets the second attempt wrong, I want to add a fourth layer (I called it Correct Answer) that displays the correct answer(s) to the learner. I want to add a trigger to that 4th layer's "Continue" button that advances the question slide the same as if they clicked "Continue" on the "Correct" layer.

All my logic plays out but when I add the Layer 4 trigger and apply its rules, it does NOT show up.

Nor does it work... :-(

You guys have come to my rescue before... can you work your magic again? ;-)

Attached is a small sample. Focus on slide 2.1 (Q1) for the failed 4th layer.

Hi Glenn

the layer that displays when they get it incorrect on the second attempt is the default 'incorrect' layer - wouldn't it be easier to just display that layer and have the correct feedback text on that layer. That is default SL behaviour so you don't need any other triggers.

Alternatively if you didn't want to use that layer you would need to add a number variable to count the attempts and then set a trigger to show layer 4.

See if the attached works for you
