Does anyone know how to remove/change the color on the highlighting behind multiple choice quiz answer options? Mine seems to be highlighting the answer selection in blue and I can't find a way of removing this or changing it to another colour,
You can change the highlight color for Multiple Choice answers, or you could change it to the same color as your slide's background, if you prefer. If you change the color to match the background, it will appear as though there is no highlight effect on the answers.
To change the color of the Multiple Choice answer highlight, click on the "Design" tab while you have the question slide open. Then, click on "Colors" and "Create new theme colors". In the next window, you'll see the colors for your course's design. To modify the answer highlight color, select the option for "Control 1" and choose the color you'd like to use.
It should look something like this:

In Quizmaker '13 I have a multiple choice question. The four answers each span two lines. When the mouse goes over an answer option the two lines are combined into one cutoff line and highlighted. I would prefer the answer option boxes to maintain the highlighting fully covering the two lines. How do I make this happen?
I've just done a quick test in QM13 and I can't replicate your issue. Are you able to upload the file - might be easier to help you if we can see what's happening.
Attached is the file. The second question is the one that doesn't appear to display in the correct way. The last question is a Multiple Response question. It has two lines per answer, but displays the highlighting in the anticipated way.
see attached file - I have added a new quiz slide under your #2 (rebuilt it from the content in #2) - sometimes it is the way you resize the text boxes that can throw out the alignment and highlighting.
Grabbing the whole text box as opposed to one text box at a time
Similar question on text that is part of multiple choice or other questions. When the learner moves over the answer, it highlights and that's fine. However the text also slightly shifts, though not for all selections. It then goes back when the learner leaves/removes highlight from that answer selection. Again, it does not do this for all of the answer possibilities on the screen which adds a little to the frustration on why it's doing it only on some. I've checked the spacing of the text from the buttons and in the one particular question I'm looking at they are all the same spacing. Any other ideas? The course material itself is not available to be pushed out on this network otherwise I'd share the sample frame. Thanks for any help.
Are you referring to the instructions that Christine shared above? She's adjusting the color to match the background. You are correct, there is no way to designate a 'no fill'.
If you need some help setting this up, I've created a short Peek 360 video to help you here.

Hi Bob!
This thread is a bit dated, but I do believe you are describing an issue we have seen previously.
Check out this forum thread.
If you create a new slide, do you see the same issue?
Looks like Bob was able to find a solution that he shared here.
Just wanted to link for anyone following along.
Welcome to E-Learning Heroes Bob :)
This was extremely helpful thread! Easy to follow. Thank you.
Glad you were able to find value here as well Amy :) Thanks for popping in to share.
