Quiz – Need multiple attempts but got something else

Hi all,

I am still not clear how this functionality/behavior is not catch by anyone earlier, or am I making any mistake somewhere.

I need multiple attempts in the quiz, so as per my understanding it is possible to achieve by setting a variable and increment it on every attempt, that is fine and no issue with that.

The variable can only preserved if we select resume option, is that correct understanding? I am selecting the option ‘Always Resume’ to only preserve the variable.
Now the problem starts – There are 10 questions in the quiz. If I exit in-between then score passed to the LMS. When I re-launch, the quiz start from where I left. Now onwards it will only jump on the same question where I was left in the 1st attempt. No any new score update on the LMS even if I reach to the result slide.

So the issue of the multiple attempts kept aside and the above new issue arise.

In short, I do not need the resume functionality (coz that causing the issue) but need to preserve the attempt variable.

Any solution/workaround?
