quiz results slide - response dont work properly

Jul 06, 2021

Hi there!

Running the test and the test-results are ok.

Then - rewiewing the test-results by the REWIEW Buton, there pops a red sign: "wrong", but the choise wasn't wrong ...

This happens with drag & drop and with the Multiple Response Questions ...

(By the way - I cant find this "wrong" grafic-element anywhere to rebuild it ...)

Hi, Gabriela,

If your review is showing correctly answered questions as wrong, that should be reported to the Articulate staff. You can do that here:

https://articulate.com/support/contact

There is very little you can do to change the green "Correct" and red "Incorrect" banners that appear during a quiz review.

You can change the text in those banners by editing the Player's Text Labels for the Correct Feedback Title and Incorrect Feedback Title:

Note: That will also change the text that appears in the Correct and Incorrect layers. However, you can edit that text on the slide layer to whatever you want.

Storyline does not allow you to change the color, sizing, or placement of the banners. However, you can hide the banners by adding shape to the Review layer that will cover them up.

  • If you don't already have a Review layer, add one.
  • If you want to cover up the built-in banners with your own "Correct" and "Incorrect" objects on the Review layer, you'll have to use variables to track answers and triggers with conditions to show the appropriate message.

Hi Gabriela,

I'm glad that Judy was able to pop in and help you here.

One culprit for the quiz review showing 'incorrect,' even when you answered correctly, is the Slide Properties when revisiting. Are your slides set to 'Reset to Initial State'? If so, I'd recommend changing this to 'Automatically Decide'.

Hi Gabriela,

From here, I'd recommend sharing your file if possible. If we can see what you have going on in your project so far, it'll be easier to offer more suggestions!

If you're not comfortable sharing it publicly, feel free to upload it privately here for one of our support engineers to lend a hand!
