Quiz Slide Master

Jun 04, 2013

HI,

I would like to use 3 different styles for quiz questions.

I tried to accomplish that by using the Slide Master.

I've changed the original question layout as wished, duplicated that and made the changes for the other two layouts.

All in all, nearly everything works.

Unfortunately, the width of the choice placeholder does not. Is there any possibility to apply different widths too?

Hope you can help

Hi Johanna,

If I understood correctly, I think I was able to achieve what you're after with the attached. I only made 2 new master, but I did set them up differently: different colored background, different position and sizing of choice and title boxes, and different fonts.

The first time I tried this, it didn't behave. So, the second time this was the sequence I followed:

  • Went into the Slide Master
  • Duplicated the original question slide 2 x
  • Gave these "dupes" names (I was thinking I might use one style for m/c and one for t/f, so I named them in that way.
  • Made my desired changes in each dupe.
  • Exited the slide master.

That was the "new" sequence that worked.

Then, I created a T/F question, and after creating it, used my T/F layout.

I created a M/C question, and after creating it used my M/C layout.

It seems to be working.

The questions are really down and dirty (the T/F question is "True or False" and so are the slides, but it give you the idea. Let us know!
