I have a course that is relying on a quiz to say if it is completed or not. The .story file is published as LMS - Tin Can API. Right now, the LRS is not getting the information that the course is complete when the quiz is passed. It does register that the quiz completes, and shows the score earned.
It does add a record that the course was "failed" when the quiz isn't passed as well. Just no record for the course success.
While publishing the course which option have you checked for(in Reporting And Tracking) is it track using number of slides viewed or the result slide ?
Try publishing it with the Result slide it should work !!

Currently, I can reproduce the behavior on SCORM cloud in the following steps:
Reset all data, launch course
Complete just the quiz and fail it
Relaunch the course, click yes to resume where left off, click retry quiz
Retake the quiz and pass
Exit and return to LMS, data is not updated with quiz success
Return to LMS, data is updated with correct, completed quiz score
The problem is between steps 4 and 5. Students are confused that they have passed the quiz, but it is not updating that status on their display, and it isn't intuitive to relaunch the course and close it again to see the completion. Also, we are basing their ability to move on to the next course on this data, and if they don't know to relaunch, they can't continue.
I'd be happy to share the .story file. Maybe I have configured something poorly.

Hi Tom! I popped in to check on your case this morning and looks like our team was able to duplicate and has shared this information with our QA Team to investigate further.

Is this an issue that you are able to replicate in SCORM Cloud? This helps determine if the issues lies within the course or the LMS.
