Quiz with no feedback but unlimited attempts will not advance unless the correct answer is picked

Oct 31, 2019

I created an exam. The student is to answer the questions and if they pass they can review to mark to 100. In order to give them more than 1 attempt the feedback is set to by question but the feedback has been removed.  How can we get more than one attempt and still allow them to move forward with the incorrect answer? If needed I can attach the quiz.

Hello Natalie and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)

Thanks for reaching out and letting us know what you are running into with your course.

It sounds like you have the questions set to unlimited attempts, which means the learner does not move forward until they select the correct answer.

No feedback when the answer is incorrect may make it seem that the buttons are not working as well.

If you wish for them to answer each question and move on, I'd set the attempts for each question to 1 and then allow them to retry the entire quiz by adding a Retry button to the Result Slide.

Let me know if that may work better for you.
