If you use fill-in-the-blank or text-entry questions with answers that require apostrophes, you may find that the questions are always marked incorrect—even when learners correctly enter answers with apostrophes.
This is a known issue. It'll be fixed in a forthcoming software update for Articulate Storyline. Enable theCheck for updates at startup feature to be notified when new updates are available.
thanks for your answer. We have now found that the problem is not the use of quotation marks, but the use of the backslash. Removing the backslash solves the problem.
But since it is a course on programming language we would really like to be able to use the backslash. So I'm hoping this will be fixed as well.
I have tested this from my end and was able to reproduce the issue in HTML5. The forward slash works, however. I will be forwarding this to the QA team for review.

Or could it be that the problem is the use of a backslash?
