Hello, Storyline support

I have one question regarding using multiple layers. It’s hard to describe so I think I want to describe using one of the templates you have provided us.

I am using the template of “Desktop Overhead”, one of the slide is named “Benefits”.  Based on which sticky notes user clicks on, the content on the stack of paper will change(as shown in picture 1).  However, when I was trying to develop this in my own project.  I added a new layer and put the new information in that new layer, when I preview this, the new content and the old content will show both. As shown in the picture 2, once I click retirement to the left, this is what I saw from the preview screen. How to hide the content on the main layer, so only the content in the new layer will show? What am I missing here?  Thank you!

No, that won't work for this example. Because only the texts in the middle of the screen changes. If I hide objects on base layer,   everything else including sticky notes images and laptop images will not show either. These are all resided in the old layer. Please refresh your screen, I uploaded two pictures again using the attachment.

Thank you!

Jhenyu;

You can turn off or hide specific elements on the base layer when you go to a new layer.  If you look at the bottom of the timeline you will see Base Layer Objects with an arrow beside it.  Click on the arrow and all of your base layer elements will appear.  You can hide them individually by clicking on the Eye icon.

Hope this helps

Tim
