We have created a quiz using question bank and have enabled the randomize option. The bank has 10 questions and we want draw 10 question in random order. We think we have done it all right however the questions are not randomized. Please can someone from Articulate staff advise us on what's wrong with our version.
Would it be possible to take a look at your Storyline course? If you can't share it here in the forums I can send you directions to share it with me privately.
In the meantime, I did want to point you to the tutorial on using question banks, and you'll first want to check that the quiz questions are not locked in place or to another question. Also, I would check theInclude In Shufflecolumn to specify, for each question, whether the question will beRandomlydisplayed (which is the default option),Neverdisplayed, orAlwaysdisplayed.
Wonderful things happen when it's Monday. I don't know how or why but the same course is randomizing the questions.
We did a small change for resetting one of the custom variables. Don't know if this was the trigger to start the questions randomizing again. I know this does not makes sense but this was the only change I made.
Any idea on what could have cause the quiz questions to randomize again?

You mentioned a custom variable - did it have anything to do with how the questions are randomized, or are you using the built in randomizing? With this in mind, I'd want to ensure that you're working with local project files, and I'd also recommend creating some back up copies of your Storyline course - just in case. I'm happy to hear though that things are back to normal!
I have set all questions in the bank to randomly (default setting) AND ticked the "shuffle" option in the question bank. But all questions are presented in the A - Z order of their appeareance in the bank. Do you have a clue?

If you can let us know what version of Storyline you're using, that'll point us in the right direction! You can check by going to the "Help" Tab -> "About Articulate Storyline".
Also, if you're able I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening, with your permission! You can share it publicly here, or send it to our Support Team privately. We’ll delete it when done troubleshooting.
The reason was my incorrect choice while publishing. I chose to publish the question bank instead of the scene. Until now I thought that you only can publish the projects or specific scenes...NOT specific questions banks.
Now all slides are shown in a random order. Great!
