I have a quiz which randomly pulls 10 questions from four groups of questions. When I try the published course only 5 questions are asked which gives a 50% result which is a fail. When the quiz is retried 10 questions are asked giving 100%. I can't figure out why only 5 questions are asked in the first try and then the correct 10 questions are asked in the retry. The 'Draw from question bank' settings appear correct for each group. Is there another quiz setting that I'm missing. I'm using Storyline 2. Thanks.
It sounds like you've done everything just right so far.
It would help to take a look at your file to see how it's all set up and then we can test from there too! If you're not able to share the file, can you tell me:
How many questions are in each group?
How many questions are pulled from each group?
How are you publishing the course and where are you testing it?
Are the learners retrying it from the results slide or another method in your LMS
Once I know that info, I can look at setting up my own sample file to share here. That way you can compare to yours if you're not able to upload it for us.
Thanks for your reply. I could attach the quiz scene file for you to review offline but I'd prefer not to share it. I have 4 groups of questions. I draw the following questions randomly:
Bank 1- 3 of 5, Bank 2 - 2 of 5, Bank 3 - 3 of 11, Bank 4 - 2 of 3 questions.
So I wish to draw 10 questions from a total of 24 questions. Each quiz bank is set to draw the questions randomly. The questions randomly shuffle. I publish to LMS in Storyline 2 and we use SAP as our LMS. We test it in SAP before we go live with it but this problem seems to be intermittent. The students retry the quiz from the results slide and are asked 10 questions on the retry. When I test the scene in Storyline it looks correct asking 10 questions. I have tracked the questions it asks in the first 5 and they are the correct amounts from group 3 and 4, it doesn't appear to ask from groups 1 and 2. I'll have to retry it a few times to confirm this.
Probably easier if I email you the file if that is ok. I've checked all of the areas I can think of.

That one was working normally for me, and I wanted to also make sure you were publishing with the latest update of Storyline 2. If you're not sure what update your on an easy way to check is by going to the "Help" Tab -> "About Articulate Storyline". That'll show your update number in the bottom right corner, and you can compare that against the Storyline 2 Version history.
