Re-numbering Scenes

I added a new scene to a course. There were already 6 scenes so the new scene is now #7. However, I positioned it so that it plays in a different order. That's fine. But when I publish the course to Word for the client to review, it publishes in the numerical order. And it isn't a huge deal to move it around in Word, but it is inconvenient. Is there any way to make the scenes renumber to solve this?

Hi Helen,
You may want to review this video by David Anderson on how scene order is determined and therefore numbering:
Hopefully the method he describes in that video will improve the order in which you see the slides in Word. If not, however, it might be best to reorder once they've been published to the document.
Let us know how it goes!
Hi Helen,
If you want to change the order of the scenes you can accomplish that in Story view. For instance, if you want your new scene 7 to actually be scene 2, you select the whole scene 7 in story view and do a cut. Now click on scene 1 and do a paste. Scene 7 will now be scene 2.
Hope that helps.
Thank you both, Christine and Michael. Both of your replies were very helpful. I'm glad there is a way to fix it when I failed to plan ahead!! Thanks again.
