Does anyone know if it is possbile to restrict what values can go into a numeric entry field? I.e. values no less than or no value greater than 500etc.. Any help would be appreciated.
This thread is a bit older, but there is an example within it - that although a bit complex - works to check the value and then if the value doesn't match the range indicated the user receives an error.
If you were using a numeric entry field vs. a text entry the former would only accept numbers, decimals, and hyphens (for negative numbers). There is a bit more information about data entry fields here.
We don't announce release dates in regards to new versions or updates to Articulate software, but once we have information to share we'll be certain to let folks know!

Also at the bottom of this thread is some discussion by Nancy and Steve to check the numeric variables using Javascript triggers.
Hey Ashley,
Thanks for the help, I think it will help with part of what I am looking to acomplish.

Thanks for the update Chris, and please let us know if you need anything else.
Is there any easier way of doing this?
Hi Matthew,
This thread is a bit older, but I haven't seen any changes to this or additional ways in which to restrict the numeric entry to particular numbers.
Besides some complex javascript work, is there any way to restrict the text input to be numbers in general?
When is the next release of Storyline?
