Im having issues with the slides not resetting to initial state, ie if the user returns to a screen they have already viewed/or clicks on the previous button. It seems to got to the previous layer viewed, so in fact the previous layer appears on the previous slide. if that makes sense?
In the scene when you choose a slide, there is on the left the option "When revisiting reset to initial state". Or else in the states you shouldn't have the state "Visited".
Kate, looking at the link you shared, I'm not sure I'm seeing the set up your describing, but I'd definitely check on Kat's suggestion. If you're still having difficulty you may want to post the .story file here so that we can take a look at your triggers and offer assistance that way.
thanks Kat and Ashley...(I had thought I had set all the slides to reset to initial state, but had missed that one. So its now all working well) cheers Kate

Thanks Kate for the update!
Can someone add a screenshot for "When revisiting reset to initial state"?
I can't figure it out.
Hey Stanley Law and welcome to E-Learning Heroes. 😊
Thanks for reaching out and asking for a visual for the conversation here. It looks like they are discussing Slide Properties:
