Read Content of a text box from javascript

Hi There

I am using story line and would like to read the content of a text box from javascript so i can print it.

but as the textbox is sometimes in flash how do i read the value then.

thanks for any help.

PS. i am trying to print the text that sits inside a text box, so i want to use JavaScript to read the value of the text box then i can add the value to an iframe  and print the value inside that iframe.  maybe there is a better way to just print what is inside the text box.
