Read External text into Storyline text field

I was wondering if it is possible to have text fields within storyline that would read in text from an external file such as a word doc or notepad file? Basically what I'm looking for is an easier way to insert information text for each slide of our class that could be edited from a single file. Currently, I have an information call out button that once clicked some text pulls out to help with what is required for the slide. The issue is as the class grows and more slides are added that info text box changes per slide and you have to go in slide by slide to update. If there was a way to add a tag (ex: #slide1.6callout) and then have that read an external file looking for that tag and insert whatever text I needed for that text field.

I tried using web object and directing it to the text file which reads in the text one time but does not update if you change the text file within storyline. 

I hope I have explained this enough to get some help. If not any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
