the current atricle on rearranging scenes in Story view must apply to Storyline 1 because neither method works in Storyline 2. Is there an updated procedure?
Tell me a little more of what you are trying to do.
In general, rearranging scenes requires that you cut and paste the scenes in a different order. If it is a starting scene issue, then you need to use the Starting Scene icon to change how the story begins.
Thanks so much for your response! Copy and paste wasn’t working last week. Looking back, I think I had drained the system RAM. Happens a lot on viewing slides – one slide is displayed and you can’t view another until you restart.

Here's a short video of how I rearranged and renumbered a couple of scenes in SL2, and changed the starting scene, too.
One scene had no slides, but don't worry, the process works the same if the scene is full of slides. It just might be a bit slower.
