Rearranging slides in Storyline

Hi,

I am having trouble rearranging slides in Story View. For example, the section summary is labelled 2.5; however, this summary should be 2.18. I would prefer to hit 'jump to next slide' on 2.17 rather than indicating 'jump to 2.5'. This is more of a problem because when the course is published, the menu lists the summary mid-way through the chapter unless I rearrange it in the player menu. I can't seem to drag and drop or cut/paste the summary to where I want it in Story View.

I have watched the tutorial on cutting whole scenes to rearrange them, but can't find anything on this.

Any advice?

Hi there Crystal,

Welcome to E-Learning Heroes!

Have you had a chance to check out David's post and video in this thread? If not, I definitely recommend taking a look. This should help with renumbering your summary slide, so it appears where you want it.

It may also help to create a new scene and insert just the summary slide. You could then use David's method to place the slide. If that doesn't help, you should be able to drag and drop the slide at the end of the last scene.

You're also welcome to share your .STORY file here, if the slide still doesn't want to relocate. I'd be happy to take a look.
