Hi all... here's my scenario. I've created a very large Storyline project with about 15 scenes in it. We've decided to separate it out into 15 separate learning objects instead.
I've saved 15 copies of the main storyline file; it is 80mb.
In each separate file, I delete all the scenes except for the one I want to keep in that particular file.
I save the new file.
In all cases, the new file is approx 78mb. I feel it should be way smaller because I'm going from an eLearning object with about 200 slides, down to ones that have 10 to 15 slides in them.
Looks like Robert has popped in to assist you here. Storyline keeps deleted assets temporarily after you delete them in case you need to click Undo to restore them. The good news is your project file will eventually shrink, usually after saving it a couple times. But you can also get it to shrink right away by saving and closing the project file, then re-opening it and saving it again.
