I must be missing something here. I'm developing labs and have so far been capturing the steps with record screen. The story files are huge; over 100 MB in size in some cases. Of course it is because of the video files that I only need a few images from.
What is the best method for capturing specific screenshots from a process of steps that uses just specific images from the video instead of the entire video?
In other words, I don't want full video in the final story file. Do I still use record video or can I somehow captures screenshots as I go through the lab steps using some other method.

I use Techsmith's SnagIt to capture screenshots. It also provides a lot of image-editing functions, so it's a great investment.
