I am creating voice and communications training and would like to ask the student to speak, record, and playback what they recorded. Potentially, I'd also like to store that audio as well.
Can we do it in storyline 360? Can we add a bit of Java/script to make that happen? Please advise.
Microphone access from web browsers is locked down, for security and privacy concerns. Chrome and Firefox browsers support, though you need to help the user change system settings, and only activate script level programming to accomplish your task. Several examples of the scripting are floating around the internet, as well as guides you can share with students on enabling microphone access from the web browser.
