I am looking for a way to create a assessment where a user would try and replicate the steps from a screen recording. however I am wanting to record their attempts at doing this for a review at a later stage, is there any way to do this or something similar?
There isn't a way to record the users' screen at this time from within Storyline, but I've seen it suggested a few times in the past. I think it's a really cool idea
This sounds pretty cool! There isn't a way to do this with Storyline, but maybe you could use a third-party program or website to record it.
For example, you could insert a Screenr page as a web object and have them record their screen. The trick here, and probably with any other program or site, is getting that recording to you or your client. You could request that they share the link to the recording (Screenr creates a URL for all recordings, I'm sure other sites do too) and have them submit that link in the course for review.

Feel free to add your voice to the requests. Thanks!

Just a thought!
Good luck with the project :)
