Currently using Storyline to create some modules to use on LMS Totara. I have some video added using the "Record screen" function.
The content seems to play fine in my previews but once I upload onto the LMS the video doesn't play. All other content is fine except for the "recorded Screen " video. No sound or video comes through
I have tried content on Temp share ( http://s3.amazonaws.com/tempshare-stage.storyline.articulate.com/stp18fkde97ta4l12r41hvd16io1m4b4/story.html ) and it doesn't come through on here either.
First, I want to apologize for such a long delay. I've been out of the office due to a bit of a bug going around.
Now, for the file, I'm afraid you shared the published output files. While I can upload that project to a temporary server for testing, I cannot actually look at the project (.STORY) file.
In that uploaded version, I'm able to see the video play on the second slide. Nice dramatic music, by the way :)
I realize it's been a while, so the original link that you shared no longer exists. Have you had any progress with this on your end? If not, are you able to share the .STORY file? Also, can you let me know if the video plays for you as well, in the link I shared?
Hi Leslie, my lms provider told that what i recorded was a mp4 format and he needed to coverted as a flv. It took me a couple of days to replac those files but now it s working. Do you know how i could record directly flv.in storyline? Tnks
2. What about the quality of converting? my lms provider converted screencasts for me ( I don't know what kind of converted he used) but, unfortunately, the quality was poor. Was it because of the tool? Can you give some more details? Thanks again, I :)

I went through the course you shared, but honestly I didn't see a video.
Can you specify where the video is located in the project?
Also, are you able to share the .STORY file here so I can test this on my end?

They will be MP4 format and you would need a 3rd party to convert.

I have not used it before, but I know one of our Super Heroes here in the forums utilizes Freemake Video Converter. Perhaps that will assist you.
