Can anyone tell me where Storyline saves recorded screencasts? I will be at a client site doing some recording of their system steps and will not have time to insert into Storyline during that visit, as it takes a while to insert when there are many slides. I would like to access them later and insert them, but am unable to figure out where they are saved. I can see them in Storyline on the Record drop down, but where are they?
I believe all screencasts are saved directly inside the .story file, so there's no way to get them out of there before publishing. I could be wrong and there could be a temp directory but I highly doubt it. My advice is to get the story file with you and use that .story file for development.

They're saved within your file as Alex mentioned, and if you need to get them out - you can export the mp4 as described here.
