Hi - am recording from my microphone in Storyline. Was working fine but now when I press the record and it counts down from 2 secs it freezes at 1 sec and can't record anything - tried on different slides and tried re-installing the software. Frustrating. Just bought the software today!!
Hey Gordon. That certainly isn't the experience you want after you pay the piper.
You said that this behavior is happening on different slides; is it happening across different projects? Same behavior if you create a new project? I would also want to confirm that you are creating and saving your projects to your local C: drive.
I know you've tried reinstalling, but if Storyline is crashing with every attempt at recording audio across all projects, we can try to fix erratic behavior by following these steps. If it still persists, please work with our support engineers (free and unlimited) to determine just what is going on.
