I have recorded a short clip of a process from our mainframe, which recorded perfectly. But when I try and turn it into a step-by-step, it puts it all on one slide. The process itself is two screens, with <enter> keys at different places. I've tried using the Screenshot option, but all I get is a blank screen. Help!
It's possible that Storyline can't recognize the separate interactions from what you recorded - which I've seen happy with some external applications that don't communicate enough data to Storyline and the Windows Accessibility API, which is how Articulate Storyline collects information for screen recordings.
Is this a web-based application you're recording? If so, I'd also recommend launching it in Internet Explorer to record as that'll allow for more data to be captured.
