I've recorded 2 screencasts and played them back to verify the sound was working. Now when I go in, to preview the videos again, there is no sound, but the screen recording worked. I checked my volume, etc. Any other suggestions?
You mentioned going back into the file to check the screen recordings, is the sound not playing when you preview the entire course, or just looking at one individual video on a slide? First, I'd want to confirm that something hasn't happened to the file overall so you'll want to check the following:
You should also make sure the directory pathto your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters(for example C:\Articulate).
Avoid using special characters, accents orsymbols in your file names.
I would also try to export the screen recording to see if you can hear the audio outside of Storyline. If so, then you can import that mp4 into a new Storyline file to see if the sound is still accessible within a new project.
Keep us posted on how it goes when you've checked the above.
