Recording Storyline free text/survey quiz answers in Totara LMS

If they are questions and they are assigned to a results slide they should be stored.

Does it matter which type of results slide i choose? The quiz is to have scored questions and and free text questions requiring review.

Great question, Howie. You can use a graded result slide to select both the survey and the graded quiz in the results slide properties.

If you have a graded results slide AND a survey results slide, then you'll want to create a final results slide that collates the results. Change the "Calculate results for:" option to Selected results slides.

Here is a list of the data that Storyline sends to your Learning Management System.  Once that data is compiled in the LMS database, there's really no limit to what kind of analysis you can perform (assuming the LMS grants access to the data)!

If you want to send question text to your LMS, publish for SCORM 2004 or Tin Can API (also called Experience API).

I'd recommend reaching out to your LMS Administrator to find out what options they have available for reporting and data analysis.
