Recreating an online tool featuring object drag and feedback
Sep 05, 2014
Hello Articulate Community:
Do you think it would be possible to recreate something like this using Storyline or Presenter?
http://www.practicalclinicalskills.com/ecg-interpretation-tutor-tracing.aspx?tracingID=401
The link will bring you to an online ECG Interpretation tutorial that allows the learner to drag calipers across an ECG. When the caliper is moved, the time interval changes. Learners can type in their interpretation, then click on a button to display the correct answers - a great learner tool for all clinical staff, but perhaps a tall order to recreate in Articulate?
What do you think?

It would certainly take some work, but with Storyline you could recreate the slider interactions for the ECG timeinterval. See some info on building sliders here and here.
Thanks for the tips! I've started working through it and have concluded the same: doable with effort. The reason why I want to convert it to storyline rather than just direct learners to the external link is for testing purposes. If I can get it done, it will be an amazing tool.
Your question about the ECG strip had inspired me to create an example, using the new slider controls in Storyline 2. See this thread here, with a link to the examples (it's the second to last example). It was very easy to do in Storyline 2.
