I've figured this out in the past, but I believe I was opening a zipped file then. This is a file I just published &now it won't open; just a series of folders all leading to "No files match your search" or something similar.
Yes, inside the main, folder, Inn the Story Content folder, I think, I had to open the Web browser link. There it was. But, other times, I was thinking to open other's storyline files & can't. How do you open others that have been published for offline viewing?

Allow me to clarify: I am opening Storyline2 files in Storyline2.
Never mind. Sorry. But I figured it out. :-/
Hi Richard! Curious...what was the culprit? Something that could be beneficial to the community?
Glad you were able to get it figured out :)

Hi Richard!
If the course has been published to CD for local/offline viewing - you would want to utilize the Launch_Story.exe.
Thank you, Leslie.
What if it was published to the web for offline viewing? I don't recall
seeing that file when I download the presentation.
Storyline will not open published files for editing. The only way to open published files is for viewing only.
Oh, are you trying to edit?! Walt is correct, that would not be possible.
As for viewing offline when published to the web, that is a feature within the Articulate Mobile Player.
Got it; thank you both!
