So I am wondering if this is possible or anybody has explored doing this...
I have an initial text entry box (TextEntry) and want the user to enter in some text there. Later in the course, I would like for them to be able to view what they've entered and edit it as necessary (essentially, call on %TextEntry% as someone would normally reference a variable).
You create a trigger that sets the current data entry variable to equal the original data entry variable at timeline start but you still retain the trigger that says the current data entry equals the typed text when it loses focus.
Glad you were able to get that figured out and thanks for popping in with an explanation. I wasn't fully following along at first. I am not sure that I've seen a similar thread here.
For anyone following along, you can find our documentation here:
Variables collect and store data in Articulate Storyline. Variable references let you display that information anywhere in your course. Here's how.
I was so glad to run across this question and answer - I wanted to achieve the same thing (a student editing their own previous answer) and thanks to Kevin, I can!

So I can answer my own question:

Hope this helps anyone having the same issue.
