Regarding the iFrame

Jan 20, 2015

Hello,

We have several customers reporting that when embedding their projects to our LMS, their size is decreased while viewing the content using a mobile device.

We didn't have such issues in the past, so I would like to ask you if you have performed changes on this on your last version?

The content works well as a pop up, just like it works on SCORM cloud where it is also added as a pop up.

Thank you.

Hello Eleftheria!

When you embed a published course in an iFrame, the iFrame takes control of the content's placement. Depending on how the iFrame behaves, content might appear to be misaligned, cut off, or even have scroll bars. If you experience these symptoms, please contact your server administrator for assistance.

Some learning management systems (LMSs) display content in an iFrame by default. If your content is misaligned or truncated in the LMS iFrame, please contact your LMS provider for support.

Hello Ashley and Emily,

Thank you for your answers.

I am aware of this article , I have already read this.

II was hoping for some more detailed information that I can forward to our tech team who are dealing with the SCORM implementation in our LMS.

We never had issues before while embedding your content in an iFrame, to both of our LMSs.

Has anything changed in this aspect, in your new version?

I would appreciate it If you could provide more information.

Hello Eleftheria,

If the content is working as expected in the SCORM Cloud, my advice would be to reach out to the LMS tech team to see if there can be changes made to how they are displaying the content from their end.

You may want to share the name of your LMS in case others in the community have used this before. They may be able to offer advice on troubleshooting within the LMS.

Hello Eleftheria,

Unfortunately we are not able to assist in the troubleshooting from the LMS side. The SCORM Cloud is the industry standard, so if the content is playing as designed there, the issue would be on the end of your LMS, and how they display the content.

Not sure if this will help, but here is some information on troubleshooting an LMS, and also, if you could please share the LMS name, others in the community may be able to assist with ideas, or we may be able to locate a thread where other members have shared troubleshooting tips.
