Remediation References

Mar 20, 2017

Hello!

Can anyone recommend a good way of referencing the learner to remediation content outside of Storyline? Basically what I need to create is a results slide that references a list of topics based on the questions that were missed. IE: a lesson may have 10 topics but when taking the quiz the learner missed questions from only 3 of the topics. I would like to list those topics only, for the leaner.

Something like this. Again there may be 5 topics but only two had related missed questions:

"You did not pass. Remember, you have unlimited attempts to pass this posttest. You should return to the LMS and review the following content before retaking the posttest.

  • Local Reporting
  • Web Reporting

Select the EXIT button to return to the LMS"

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi Ben,

you could create a summary like this in your course at the end of the quiz:

Or see attachment. We have made this for our courses. As you can see there is a list of the questions asked, the feedback if they got it correctly or not and if not there is a little player button which shows the slide to this question in a lightbox. Maybe this helps you to get inspired how you want to create this for your course. I think it´s only one of many possibilities.

Thank you so much for your idea Susi! I was actually able to do something using a series of question bank draws, results frames, variables, and states. I was able to set it up so that when the learner was done he or she would see a list of topics, with the topics requiring remediation highlighted in red. It seems to be working so far. We'll see how it responds on the LMS. Thanks again!
