I am using Storyline 3 to publish an assessment. I would like to use the Print Results feature, but do not want the report to show the 'Correct Answer' column. I have seen old threads on this topic, but the steps no longer work on editing the report.html file. Could I get the exact steps on how to edit the report.html file to hide the Correct Answer column? I have attached the Storyline file I'm using.
I tested it in Google Chrome (Version 65.0.3325.181) and it works correctly. Is there any reason why this wouldn't work in Internet Explorer (Version 11.2125.14393.0)?
Hi Russell, don't suppose you could amend one so that you just get the 'Date and Time' at the top (no student score, passing score or result), and the 'Question' and 'Passed or Failed' (no points awarded or student answer) could you? I've tried several times and seem to be breaking it, it's driving me mad!
Hi Russell, you are an absolute star! Exactly what I wanted, thank you very much!
Maybe you could (in future, when you have time) create a tutorial on how to amend this for others? I think people would find it very useful. Thanks again!
Hey Russell, would you happen to know how to get rid of the points awarded column? And as a bonus, is there a way that I can change the Student score shown at the top to a variable I used in the course - I've got a few pick many questions that have partial scoring, so the default score is off for my report.
You should be able to change the instruction by going to the player properties and then clicking on the Text Labels button. Take a look at items 17 & 18.
Hi Russell, would it be possible for you to update the Report.html file to only show Date/Time in the Header, and the Question with the Incorrect Answer in the actual Report?
This report removes: Student Score, Passing Score, and Result from the Header. It also only lists questions that were answered incorrectly. If all the questions were answered correctly, no questions will be listed.
Would it be possible to hide the Correct Answer, Result, and the Points Awarded columns? We want to see the Question #, the Question, and to show Incorrect if the learner answers the question incorrectly?
And where do I change the Report.html header? It's displaying my internal course name. I tried changing the title in the report.html and it didn't do anything.
I'm a little bit confused, you asked me to remove the Result column. If the Result column is removed, the word Incorrect wouldn't be seen ??.
If you want to change the name of the report so it is different from your course name, you will need to edit the function displayHeader() located inside the report.html file.
In the picture below, I added code at line 147 that changes the title.

Hello Amy,
See if this works for you.
After publishing your course, replace the report.html file located in the story_content folder with the attached one.
I have replaced the file, and re-uploaded it to our LMS. Unfortunately I receive a blank white screen. I'm using Windows 10, Internet Explorer.

I'm not sure why it isn't working for you in IE. I have windows 7 with IE version 11.0.56
I uploaded your course to the SCORM Cloud for testing and works for me.
Maybe try different compatibility settings in IE?
I have IE Version: 11.0.9600.18977
Update Versions: 11.0.56
Russell. Do you happen to have a version that only prints the tile, the question number, the question, and the student answer?
Hello Marvette,
If you only use Survey Questions instead of Graded Questions, those other columns won't show up then.
You can also try this report.html file.
Here I changed it so it assumes that the questions are survey type questions. Then those columns won't show up.

I have found this thread really useful. Thank you.
Does anyone know how I can change the instruction in the popup window 'enter your name' to 'enter your full name and ID number'?
Hello Sherri,

Hey Sherri,
It looks like Russell was able to pop in and help you out here.
I also replied to a similar question here for anyone following along.
Thank you so much Russell, that is perfect :)

Hi Russell,
Apologies. We want to see the Date/Time and Learner Score in the Header.
In the report body, we want to see Question #, Question, Learner Response only show if Incorrect.
We don't need to see the Correct Answer column or the points awarded column.
Does this make sense?
