Remove Lightbox slides from page count?

I've been hunting around to find out if there's a way to remove lightbox slides from Storyline's page count, so they don't apply if the SCORM tracking is by page count. Is this possible?

Context: I'm moving an existing course into an LMS. The exam is located elsewhere so my client wants to track by page count. People are having trouble passing in testing, even when they are told they must visit every page and every popup, and with the by-page tracking set to total pages -5 as a buffer. The course is a few years old and has a lot of lightboxes in it - I expect they're missing some of these. Removing them from the page count would be faster and easier than making them all popups via layers.
