I have created a lightbox slide in Storyline 3 which has a few other slides within there. Is there a way to remove the small red "X" from the first few slides and put it on the last lightbox slide. So users cannot exit the lightbox slide until the last one?
This is not an available feature to hide/remove the exit button on lightbox slides. You can try re-creating the lightbox effect in a layer, allowing you to control the navigation.
I've attempted to use the lightbox functionality on a quiz slide in order to make it show up over top of another slide (containing the video the user just finished watching). It's awkward to use for quiz slides though, because the user can just close the lightbox without answering the question. I would like to see the capability added to Storyline to allow you to remove the close button from a lightboxed slide.
Can't find a player.css file. The only css files that I found are output.min.css and main.min.css. I tried to add this code to both of them but the cross is still there... I also tried to publish in boyh Storyline3 and 360. How did you publish? Thanks
Oh, my bad, my solution only works with Storyline 2. You're right, the Storyline 3 Export sadly does not have a player.css file.. so I haven't figured it out yet with Storyline 3.

Hi Rowhan,
Thanks for confirming. I have created them as layers now.
Im suprised this is not a feature which is included in Storyline 3. Would come in handy alot!

Agreed! Would make it so much easier to have this option within lightboxes, instead of having to create a new layer each time.
Just add these lines at the end of your player.css file:
div[class="closeicon"] {
display:none !important;
}
It worked for me. Then you can create a custom close button on your slide.
