This might only apply to slides added in View Mode format but the Mouse cursor appears as an object in the timeline so you can literally just select it and then press delete. You can't undo this action once done (as I've just found out - undo in Storyline appears to be somewhat random but that's a different story) but this shouldn't be a problem if you want the mouse to not be visible...
How are you finding the screen capture functionality? I'm used to Oracle UPK so am finding it a bit of a challenge especially as it records everything including 'dramatic' pauses, typos etc!
I actually like it , but we were using such an old tool to screen capture so this is an improvement. I do wish it was a little more flexible but it will do the job for now!
Thanks Olivia....this worked immediately and for fun, I was able to redo....and bring both items back. Thankfully we had recorded the screencast using step by step in "View" mode, so this worked great. I suspect once I save the project, I won't be able to go back and redo. I will just preview the slide and the scene first, before I save!!

Hi Olivia,
I think you need to do this using the option highlighted below before you import the screen recording.
Bruce
Thanks for getting back tyo me!
I had a bad feeling about that! So no other options once imported?
You can delete the mouse cursor from the timeline on each slide if you import the simulation in step-by-step format...
Thanks Greg! Do I do that my hiding the mouse cursor on each slide?

Ok, I will try to delete instead of just hiding.

Thanks so much for your help!
