Hello! I was wondering if there was a way to replace an Engage interaction in a Storyline file. For example, with a picture, you just right click and choose "change picture." Is there something similar that can be done to replace an Engage file, or would I have to create a new slide, import the new file, and then delete the old interaction?
Hi Sandy and Welcome to E-Learning Heroes! You want to be sure that you are following the instructions as outlined in this tutorial. These interactions are not as simple as a cut/paste type functionality, so they need to be properly imported. I hope this helps.
Thanks, but I already figured out on my own that you can't just replace a file. I already had an Engage file imported into the course, but I am localizing it into other languages, and was hoping there was a way to just swap it for the translated file, but there isn't. I just imported the new file and deleted the old one.
