Hello, I am having difficulties replacing one picture with another into a slide. I have copy and pasted before in other storylines, but not able to do this in the story I am working in now. I have attached the pic and then what happens after I delete and try to add the new picture.
In another slide I wasn't able to add anything or format it.
I sure hope you can help. This is something I have to get done and release.
you need to have the picture highlighted to see the Format tab of the object that is what Alyssa is showing above (her screenshot is from SL360 and I think you are using SL2).
I see! It still will not allow me to paste the new pic in. Not sure where to go from here. The person that originally created this will not be at work for some time. Is SL360 an update? How do I need to proceed without re-creating a whole new story?
can you upload the .story file here and I'll take a look for you. It could be that the person who created it has done a 'format background' and added the picture that way.

Hi Gina!
Did you know that Storyline has a Change Picture feature on the Format tab? You can use it to swap out the current picture for a different one.
Give that a try, and let me know how it works!

the picture in the Word doc is a Visio diagram - you need to get a .png or .jpg to be able to do the change picture
