The issue I have is with a screen recording I have done that captures a logon process, and in particular the password entry. On the actual system the password is hidden with dots as you type, but Storyline captures the actual keystrokes and shows the actual password in the text entry field. Is there a way of replacing the actual keystrokes with dots so that the interaction looks the same as the 'live' system?
I think I can do it with the use of layers/triggers, but I am still quite new to Storyline.
I thought I'd remembered seeing this at some time in the past, so I googled it. See if Jesse's sample in this thread (posted 6/12/13) does the trick for you. Haven't opened it yet myself...don't know what it's relationship is to a screen recording, but wanted to get the post out to you.
It looks like Becky has linked you to a great thread, and I also wanted to point you to this screenr from David Anderson on how to hide some sensitive information and edit it if needed.
