Replaing layers
Oct 22, 2013
Hello,
i have an issue that i haven't managed to solve so far.
i have a slide with 3 layers.
- a first layer (layer 1) where my user is taking a test
- a layer (layer 2) where he goes when he succeeds
- and another layer (layer 3) where he goes when he fails.
from the layer 3 , he has the possibility to go back to the layer 1 to take the test again by pressing a button. However, when he chooses to go back before the end of the execution of layer 3 and if he takes the test again and fails in layer 1,then when he goes back to the layer 3 , we can see that the layer 3 is confused ; the layer is played normally plus we hear the sound from where the user stopped the first time.
hope this makes sense. not very easy to explain
Regards,
Flora

Hi Flora,
What triggers do you have assigned for layers 1, 2, and 3? I might be able to help you if I have a little more information...
Thanks!
Nelson
Hi Flora,
If you're able to share your .story file here with the community that may help as well so that we can see your triggers and the audio you've got set up.
Hi Nelson and Ashley,
thanks for your help. This is my .story file with the triggers and the sound. It's in french enjoy !
Hi
I have partially fixed this but everything is in French (I think) so I wasn't able to get the feedback audio to replay when revisiting layer 3. Well that's my excuse anyway
Thanks Joe for sharing that! I tested Joe's version and I also don't hear the audio replaying (but also don't speak French....) so Flora, if you can give it a test, let us know!
It's perfect Joe thank you so much ! Merci beaucoup
Know I have tout do it in all my slide...
Thanks for your help.
Thanks Flora for the update and glad Joe's solution worked for you!
