Replay audio file from beginning trigger?
Jan 22, 2018
Hello,
This is probably obvious, but I have a slide where users can play an audio file but I want them to be able to pause, resume, and replay it from the beginning. I set up the play and pause markers for this, no problem. But I can't figure out how to trigger the audio file to start from the beginning! I tried having the "replay/refresh" marker stop the file first and then play it, but it still resumed instead of replaying. I tried creating a variable condition but still can't find a way to trigger the media to only play from the beginning.
(Also, the slide controls don't work for this because a bunch of other stuff happens before they get to the "listen to audio" part, so I don't want them to have to replay the whole slide.)

Hi Nellie,
did you try to put the audio on a new layer? So you can close and open the layer and this refreshes the timeline (and also the audio).
I build you a little example, see attached file. Does this work for you?

Susi you are brilliant!
Thank you <3
Thank you as well. In fact, I sampled an whole drumkit this way with a hot spotted pic of a drumkit as triggers.
I´m glad it helped you too. :)
