I built a course intended to launch a series of 5 videos demonstrating a new online form. I captured in Replay and published with the intent of the videos opening in a separate window, nice and large so the details can be seen.
When I view the Published MP4 video in my windows media player it is nice and large... very readable. But no matter how I try, I can't seem to get it to size for effective viewing once I bring it into Storyline.
I have 5 videos to produce and a course to go-live on Monday. Anyone have a way to accomplish this?
Well, I solved my problem myself. In case anyone runs across this, here's what I did:
Created a folder for my videos on GoogleDrive.
Shared the folder with "view" access to anyone with the link.
Created the trigger on the video launch button in storyline to launch the item in the folder on GoogleDrive as a "Jump to URL/File" and put the video URL.
Published to Scorm and posted on my LMS.
Tested the results - and EUREKA! it worked.
In retrospect, I wonder if I had just navigated to the file instead of a GoogleDrive URL if it also would have worked. But since I have a deadline and I have tested that this works, I'm sticking with the proven method for now. Efficiency will be researched later. :-)
