I would like be able to keep a running tabulation of views for a video and display it to the learner, YouTube style. Obviously this will require reporting this to and recalling from an external database. Our LMS won't do this (and this won't be tracked in an LMS anyway). Does anyone have a good (and free) solution of how to connect what amounts to a simple count variable to an external database?
